I woke up this morning to a blizzard.  I love blizzards for so many reasons.

1)  It means snow.

2)  It can mean a day off from school, or a “snow day”.

3)  We have these wonderful high winds that sometimes shake the house.

4)  Despite the 100 + km winds, everything is quieter somehow.  All you can hear is the wind blowing and snow beating against your windows.

5)  It’s awesome to watch.  The snow swirls all over the place and dashes from one direction to another.

6)  The trees get coated in snow and look like those little Christmas models.

We get blizzards a fair bit, but the snow doesn’t generally stick around for long.  So I say the more the merrier when it comes to blizzards.  15 cm, 25 cm, 35 cm.  I’m all over that.  And I was saying that even before I got sick and couldn’t shovel.

As soon as I get a camera I’ll be sending pictures to make my posts even more awesome.

Cheers!  –Cassie.

PS:  I’ve been working on some other posts to go up later.  Typical, I go from nothing to write about to having 100 things to write about.

PPS:  Should I start writing more list-based entries?
