Strange Surprises of the Past Two Days

Yesterday evening, sick and tired of my anxiety and general boredom, my Mom went out and bought me Kung Fu Panda and Horton Hears a Who.  She’s too good to me, really.  I can’t wait to watch them.

So then last night as I was getting into bed something kept itching my leg, when I finally threw the covers off to investigate I found that there was a piece of steel wool in my bed.  I’ve never had steel wool even in my room…or even outside of the kitchen sink…so how it got there I have no idea.  So that crisis averted I moved on to my night of broken sleep and then got up to take my brother’s rabbit out for some exercise.

This exercise generally consists of the rabbit tormenting me to death with his love until I am physically too tired to have him out anymore.  Today was different, he actually ran around the room like he used to.  He ran around sniffing and jumping and playing, and then sat under my chair while I ate breakfast.  Then we petted each other a little bit and he went to bed.

After breakfast I had to run to my doctor’s office to get my remedies refilled, and on the way home I stopped into my Nan’s house for a quick visit that turned into 2 1/2 hours.  She asked me if I’d be interested in taking some sort of art class with her.  Not only am I interested, but I’d love to.

Then, to top it all off, I logged on today to see that yesterday I got 32 views on this blog!  Shut up, that’s a lot for me.

So those are my five surprises of the past two days.  What a strange turn of events.

  1. You can never go wrong with Kung Fu Panda. Ever.

  2. The steel wool in your bed would be freaky.

An art class sounds like a perfect idea. I’d love to take one myself. Good on you!
